Shakethia is a very sweet, intelligent and well-mannered 15-year-old with an infectious smile and sparkling eyes.
With her gentile demeanor and ability to captivate, this soft-spoken teen radiates class and style while still having an air of mystery about her. Very approachable to those who meet her, Shakethia is analytical by nature and the rare youth that nearly always thinks before she speaks. She has been described by some who know her as inquisitive, creative, organized, fun, outgoing and well-rounded.
Like many teens, Shakethia enjoys the company of her friends, talking on the phone, using the computer and attending school athletic events. She is a solid student who, in her spare time, likes to swim, shoot baskets, play football and go fishing.
Some of Shakethia’s favorite foods include Checker’s French fries, pizza, shrimp and chicken. She likes to cook fish and would like to learn how to make shepherd’s pie. Other favorites include: colors (red and pink), holidays (Christmas and Valentine’s Day), music (R&B) and television (Sister, Sister, Family Matters, One on One).
When she gets older, Shakethia would love to work in the entertainment field, either as an actress, singer or dancer. She plans to get involved in her school Drama Club next year.
Shakethia has said that she would like to be adopted so she could have a family of her own and because she would like more stability in her life. She wouldn’t mind if that family had other children or not. If they had pets, she would prefer dogs over cats. One of her biggest wishes would be to remain local.
The possibilities are limitless for Shakethia and there is no telling how much she can accomplish in a “forever” home filled with love, stability and structure.
