Herbert is a calm, happy, and clever special-needs boy who likes to be called Herbie by
friends. He is able to understand and speak English as well as some Spanish. He loves to
dance, sing, and listen to music, especially Michael Jackson. He likes animals and would
love to have “a pet monkey like Curious George.” Herbie also enjoys sports, particularly
baseball and football, and his favorite class in school is Gym. He would greatly benefit
from a loving and attentive family that could provide him with a nurturing, supportive
environment where he could learn and thrive.
