At the time I took this photograph, Chasity was 15 year old 9th grader.  Chasity has been living with her foster family for approximately one year, but has known the family since she was a little girl.   What I noticed first about Chasity was her beautiful, contagious smile which immediately drew you in.   Her happy smile matched her personality. 

Chasity is quite friendly, confident and seemed to feel very much at ease behind the camera.  Chasity likes attending church and sings in the choir at her school.   She was looking forward to the end of the long school year and summer break which was coming within about two weeks of my visit to her home.  I enjoyed my very brief encounter with Chasity and her foster family that day.  I hope that by taking this portrait of her, it has captured a glimpse of her personality to reflect her outward as well as her inner beauty.
