We met Jaqua (12), Lalita (10), and Navant (8) late in the afternoon as the kids returned from a day at the Boys and Girls Club.  Even a full day of activity didn’t dim the brightness in their eyes as they peered out through the car windows ready for another adventure.  We sat together at a picnic table as I shared with them bird images from a recent photography trip and they asked many questions about the images wanting to learn more about each bird.  The photo shoot was very easy with their quick smiles, their desire to please and willingness to pose. 

They were very polite and enjoyed being together with each other in the photograph.  We shot from several spots as we discussed a variety of things including their overwhelming love for swimming.  We spent 30-45 minutes together photographing and they never became impatient to finish……although when we did finish, their attention, especially Navant’s, quickly turned to dinner time and trying to persuade their foster mom to make McDonalds tonight’s choice. 

It was a wonderful, fun experience.
