We met on a near 100-degree day at the Oklahoma History Center. The girls were totally impressed with the place and we had not even got inside. They were really excited to see the Wiley Post and Will Rogers Winnie Mae airplane hanging from the ceiling. The Center had its Rock n’ Roll exhibit up and they enjoyed setting on the guitar thrones and listening to music. They want to come back and see more. They are eager to learn.

The sisters live in separate foster care placements right now, but would love to have a home together where they could really be sisters. On this Oklahoma summer day at the History Center, they were sisters, inside and out. While the photo here is good, the best pictures of the day was with their social worker. They were all over her because she’s been with them for nearly two years and she’s their big sister. “We’re off to get ice cream.”
