My first impressions of Rikki were of brightness, vibrancy, energy.  It was partly that she wore bright colors, shocking pink and turquoise, but primarily, it was her smile lighting up her face. Rikki is friendly, open, interested and curious.  She fired questions: You’re here to take my picture? Will I be on TV? Is it about my adoption? 

Given the right opportunities, what could she be? An artist, a designer or even a photographer. Rikki worked hard to make this project a success. When she saw her pictures on the camera, she was delighted. She thanked us as we left and it was my pleasure to meet and photograph Rikki.
