Three more adoption means eight boys for local family

Robert and Holly Fujioka are going where few parents
have gone before. They're bringing eight boys into their home, and
three of them were just adopted today."
Our new adoptees are of course Willie and Robert
and Seth," Robert said, introducing the new members of the
family. That adds to the five boys who have already been adopted
into the Fujioka household."
It's great," Willie said. "I'd like to
be adopted and it happened today."
Robert said he's having a great time and is looking
forward to having eight brothers. "It's funner and you have
more people to play with," he said. But it's more than just
fun. It's a permanent home."
That means I'm being with a new family forever,"
Seth said. The Fujiokas wanted to share this moment with you in
hopes that other children will find homes."We are crazy, but
it's for the benefit of the kids," said Rober, the father.
"We want to get those kids out of the system and get them into
a good home."
Mom Holly agreed.
"We first tried foster care and we said we
can love other people's children," she said. "We really
fell in love with those two little boys and so we said we have to
adopt our own, we don't want to let them go."
Robert says eight kids is enough for now, but his
wife might have other ideas. "No, I'd say we might be back,
you never know," Holly said. But first they have to get their
clan home, a larger one. They moved from Redmond to Longview for
a bigger house, and they needed a new van to haul everyone. They're
off to start their new life. Eight boys, one family.
